Welcome to Year 4! First of all, we would like to say a HUGE thank you for the wonderful homework we have received. You have truly worked hard over the summer and we think it looks fabulous.
We hope you are ready and raring to go.
Mrs Hutton and Miss Pounder
This term we have started looking at the American artist, Georgia O’Keeffe. Some of her most famous paintings were of flowers and this week 4F have re-created some of her paintings with oil pastels. They each took a small section of a painting and worked together to create the ‘bigger picture’.
Comment below what else you would like to do in this topic 4F! 🙂
It was finally 4F’s turn to go swimming this term – they have been looking forward to it for a long time!
4F, I thought it would be a nice idea for you to comment below anything that you achieve or are proud of in swimming. Maybe you want to leave a comment for someone else to say well done on something they have achieved!
I can’t wait to see all of your certificates at the end of term. You’re all doing brilliantly so far 🙂
Miss Pounder x
On Monday, Year 4 put on two brilliant Samba performances for Year 2 & 3 and you, the parents and grandparents.
Over the last 11 weeks, they have been working so hard practicing their grooves, call and responses and working together to pull off what were 2 brilliant final performances!
Click on the videos below to see their performances and maybe yourself getting involved in the audience!
Year 4, I’d just like to say how proud you made me and Mrs Hutton on Monday. You were amazing and worked so hard for this performance – WELL DONE! Miss Pounder x
Call and response
In R.E, 4F have been learning all about the British charity, Comic Relief and the work it does for people in the UK and overseas.
After much research, they designed posters to share their information about the charity and to tell others about the brilliant work they do.
Here they are looking fabulous in red on Friday 24th March! Scroll down further to see a selection of their posters.
