A QUICK REMINDER FOR YEAR 5 AND 6

Our science lesson was extremely fun and  we learnt a lot.   A big thank you to mrs wrigley and mrs stopthorth for making our lesson really exciting

We are really enjoying learning to play the steel pans with Mr Martin. Can you remember any facts about the origins of steel pans?

This term we were visited by the Healthy Minds UK team. The children learnt that there are six parts to their brains and that it is important to make sure we use each part every day. Can you name each part?

We we have been very busy in 5F since we started. The children have learnt about how flowering plants reproduce. We turned our classroom into an art gallery, where the children examined botanical illustrations. They were scientists, carefully observing real flowers and picked them apart.
